ALL About ME!

I'm Dolores Batalingaya, and I'm 16 years old. I live in Nairobi Kenya. I'm not going to bore you about my life-story. So, I'll just stick to the basics. I'm Rwandan, my parents were born and raised in Rwanda until the genocide, then they fled to Belgium. I was born sometime in the middle of that, in a small village in Ivory Coast in January 1997, I lived in Belgium for five years, then I moved to Senegal for three years, then I moved to Dumfries, Virginia, for almost six years, and now I'm here, a sophomore  in high school. No, I'm not a missionary kid, my father works for World Vision. I like to think he's like superman, he helps others before himself. Yea, he's a pretty cool guy. But anyways, I speak French as a first language, I go to Rosslyn Academy, and I live poetry. It represents actions in the most beautiful words. When I write, I feel new. Yes, this is my life, this is me, this is my passion.

I've always had a love for kids. I believe that in them holds all of life's greatest mysteries. They know to love without being asked, and to do it from the heart. Their innocence brightens up my day while their simple minds jazz me. They are my calling.

My friends mean eternity to me. They're there for me through good and bad. I try to be as best of a friends i can possibly be to them, hoping that I'll be at least half as good to them as they are to me. I adore them.
